Well, in the interests of full disclosure, the two things are not mutually exclusive.
Just because they cheated does not mean that we definitely did not cheat. However, the thrust of your proposal is accurate.
They are MASSIVE hypocrites who refuse to accept the delicious irony of their mantra since Feb 6th, 2013. That much is spot on.
