This is true. It does have a different flavor than chicken but it's not a bad thing. It has a bland flavor actually compared to chicken and is kinda dry. You have to season it properly to help the meat out. I guess that's why we have chicken farmers and not frog farmers.

I always thought frog legs tasted like a mix between chicken and fish.
