This will maybe not be a popular opinion, but I find that man to be extremely depressing and sad.

To do the same shite day after day for 70 years. Ugh.

To have no passions in life, only trading your precious time on this world for a paycheck.

To begrudgingly slog your way through a 40 hour work week without any desires to improve, rise through the ranks, take on greater responsibilities, educate yourself, etc.

He's the ultimate safe route guy, make no waves, don't rock the boat yet don't progress. I simply can't understand that way of living and satisfaction with doing and being nothing.

I'm always thinking bigger, better, faster, stronger. How to be more efficient, innovate smarter easier methods to achieve greater impact in our business. I'm wired to find opportunities and exploit them for nice profits in as short amount of time as possible.

There's no way I could devote my life to a dead end job where I wasn't inspired by my efforts and contributions to the company's mission and daily operations. I wish I could understand the ability to be complacent and happy with mediocrity. I'm sure I'm just a product of my environment where everyone is happy to get by and live another day, but frick that noise. I've got greatness in me and if I give up on that gift I'm doing the world a disservice.

His retirement alone will be worth more than you'll ever make in your whole life job hopper.

Saw this guy on the news last night. Pretty cool.
