I think Spurrier is 3-5 against Richt since arriving in Columbia, all close games until last year when he won the third in a row over UGA.

At South Carolina he is 4-4 vs. UGA
2001 would be the only time Richt faced him while at UF. Gators won that game.

5-4... they met in Richt's first year at UGA, 2001.
Richt's arrival in athens couldn't have been timed any better, with the exit of Spurrier... had SS continued on in Gainesville, the SEC Championships Richt won may not have happened.
