How does Mississippi State recruit great pitchers?

Taking guys out in the 3rd inning for doing almost everything right would make top prospects want to go elsewhere I would imagine. Is this the first year you guys have done this?

We don't have any legit starters besides Graveman.. Gotta do what you gotta do. The two other guys that were supposed to be our weekend guys went on the frick-shite

They don't get a lot of big commits. They've always been really good at developing pitchers. You could argue Cohen is the best pitching coach in the country.

Our top 2 SP's have been hurt- one is on the shelf for the season and the other lost confidence after not being able to be 100%. Both return next year

Girodo is the only RP we lose from the pen. We lose him and Graveman- that's it.

Our pitching will be even better next year

Not a chance, in fact it would make them want to come here. Top pitching talent would look at us and be like, "damn, I could go there and start my freshman year and be a phenom."
