Per Chase Parham's tweet, Mike Bianco's contract has been rolled over to 2015.

still not a full contract. I figure they just want to go into next season giving him one last vote of confidence.

In my mind they did this just to shore up recruiting and stuff, they don't want to make him look desperate. But if he has a bad year I think he knows he is gone.

what i'm thinking exactly. Not much to buy out his contract with only one year left on it if we have another crappy season next year.

I think you are 100% correct. The biggest takeaway is that Bjork isn't completely backing him. I see this as an acknowledgement that the baseball program is not in a good place and that he gets one more year to fix it.

This is the right call by Bjork... We can pay him whatever 6 figure buyout we owe him and part ways... Hell, he earned the buyout by building the program from the ground up, imho... But when we suck arse and finish 10-20 in the SEC next season we will let Mike and his staff go.
