Comparing USCe-Clemson to the third Saturday is ...well...was that the best he could do?

And no. That game is a conference game or its not a game at all. That's just silly. If the perms die then sadly Bama and UT die. As does UGA and AU but there may not be a choice with 14 teams much less 16. We will play when the schedule dictates and fill UT's spot with a mid-major from the mountain west. Whatever they do we'll be fine. The game will probably go away but the memories wont. Unless we get moved to east which I have no idea why Bama isn't pushing for. Myself and several others have emailed Battle with that request but I doubt it happens. Why, I don't know. Everyone and I mean everyone I know says let's move. AU, ya'll come on too. I would love for football season to roll around every year and our OPENING game is the Gators. The media buzz that would create every August. GT comes back on the schedule, A trip to Columbia, Nashville in early OCT with some good, cool Tennessee weather and then the 3rd Saturday in the smokies when 10,000 Bama fans invade Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The heck with driving to Baton Rouge, Fayettnam or College station. Too far away to enjoy those anyway. Would miss the short hop to Starvegas and Oxford though but I couldn't care less about playing them anyway. USM was most always a more formidable opponent and that's just the way it was. Again, don't know why. Maybe because half the team was from Bama.
