It absolutely would NOT help eliminate FCS games.

It will simply kill games against mid majors and make it harder to set up games against power BCS teams.

The only thing that would stop SEC schools (this goes for all conferences BTW) from playing FCS schools would be a conference mandate against them like the Big Ten claims will happen in the next few years.
