Big season ahead to get the interest back up there. Some area kids:
#2 Terry Beckner Jr.(5* DE) - East St. Louis - #2 overall in the nation has MU currently in the top 3.
#100 Drew Lock(4* QB) - Lees Summit - Is "warm" on MU and no others.
#104 Natereace Strong(4* RB) - East St. Louis - Shows Missouri listed.
#134 Hale Hentges(4* DE) - Helias/Jeff City - Shows MU in top 5.
#165 Ryan Williams(4* RB) - Lees Summit West - MU only current offer.
Certainly appears East St. Louis is returning to national prominence in football.

Damn that'll be nice if they can pic up those 4-5* recruits. Damn Beckner looks like he could wreck some shite. Hope Mizzou gets him.

I would just send Beckner videos of Aldon Smith highlights and tell him he can surpass Aldon.

Wow, Lock is 100. That is pretty cool. His dad played for Mizzou a long time ago.
And nice to see Ryan Williams there too... he's a real good player.
Now I would be happy if Lee's Summit North could have any decent football players

Was just looking at these kids. This season is going to be very important. We HAVE to pull out 8-9 wins. Lock is someone we can snatch because of his roots with Mizzou from his dad. Recruiting is looking like it should right now. We are an average team getting the average rated prospects. Winning will open up some eyes.

Like our chances with Lock also. I hope we can get one of the 2 RB's. We have a solid relationship at LSW so I like our chances there better. However, I'd really like to get the ESL RB to further our roots there, just don't think that's as likely. Of course, the huge get would be the ESL DE but I'm sure everyone and their brother will be after him.

Agreed. But the fact that Mizzou has but 2 DLineman in the first round of the nfl draft in the last 3 drafts, one of which had 19 1/2 sacks last year (im a niner fan had to point that out) should be something this kid notices. For only getting 2 and 3*s on defense we have produced solid NFL talent.
