permanent cross-divisional cupcake games

Maybe you don't understand the topic of this thread. Let me spell it out for you.

Permanent cross-divisional games that produce cupcake matchups are unfair to LSU

2011 Bama/Tenn 37-6, 2012 Bana/Tenn 44-13

Permanent cross-divisional games that produce matchups against perennial SEC powers

LSU vs Florida

Sorry, can someone help me with another permanent cross-divisional game that produces another top-10 matchup. No more? Who Knew?

This is Les Miles' point--pure and simple.

The fact that your are calling it a cupcake game is the troll part. Has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I don't even know why I'm arguing with you. You may be the greatest troll on here. Congrats.

I think the problem is an ill-defined alternative. Rotate all inter-divisional games? That's never going to happen. Getting the necessary invite votes (for A&M and Missouri) was contingent on keeping UA/UT and AU/UGA. In other words, what specifically has Miles/Alleva suggested as an alternative scheduling format?

What about UGA-Auburn in 2010? Or USCe-Arky when Arky had Petrino in 2010? I don't know off the top of my head whether both were Top 10 teams when they played, but all of those teams were Top Ten at one point or another that year.
Who's to say that UF and LSU are going to be in the Top Ten in 2013 when they play?
