Berry is the best DB the SEC has had during this stretch, not Peterson.

Peterson getting more love itt is most likely due to Peterson being the better pro. Though Berry has been a Pro Bowler every year he has been in the NFL.

Keep in mind Berry played three different positions (CB as a frosh, FS a a sophomore, and SS as a junior) while PP played all CB.

Berry (39 games)
245 tackles
17.5 TFL
3 sacks
14 INTs
494 INT return yards
3 INT TDs
2 FR
103 FR return yards

2x Consensus All-American
Thorpe Award
SEC Defensive Player of the Year
Number 5 Overall Pick, NFL Draft

Peterson (39 games)
135 tackles
3 TFL
7 INTs
171 return yards
1 INT TD
1 FF

Bednarik Award
Consensus All-American
Thorpe Award
SEC Defensive Player of the Year
Number 5 Overall Pick, NFL Draft

I'm an LSU fan but I definitely agree about Berry and I think Dorsey is being underrepresented.

Also, it is laughable at this stage to put Manziel with Cam and Tebow. I know Cam had only one season but no one else in this discussion carried the kind of load he did during that season.
