I think if they lose to MSU early it may be hard to keep some of the guys believing that Gus is the guy to turn the program back around. Especially if the losses start mounting. It was definitely a task for Hugh Freeze. There were some guys that weren't fully bought in when the season started. He was able to hold it together.(and they won a couple games)

Us Aubs hope most of that problem was the result of meddling by Chizik, but I don't think we know that for sure.
I could see anything from a 3-9 year to 9-3 year to be honest. Mostly depends on whether we get a competent QB to run the offense and whether the D takes a decent step forward.
