I'm going to start with the missouri tigers. Gary pinkel has a lot coming back. Six defensively. None more important than his quarterback. They have to do a better job protecting him. A lot of inexperience on the offensive line. Now their experienced players can protect him. Talking to gary last year he said this is the heartbeat of their program. As talented a player as quarterback as he ever approached. And they have three in the nfl. Josey returns [at runningback]. He missed last season with a knee injury. The defense will have to replace sheldon richardson to the nfl. Lucas vincent will fill in nicely there. Some experienced players benefiting last year of having to play early. A soft schedule for missouri early will allow them to be 4-0 as they every conference play this season. It will start another nice run of bowl games which they missed last year after seven consecutive bowls. Now that that initial shock is over in terms of the natural foray into the sec, do you expect them to bounce back next year? >> I think it's going to be difficult. THEY'RE A NINTH IN RUN, 10th IN Scoring. This is a team that had a difficult time stopping the run. Sheldon richardson their best. They have to replace four of their top seven. That'sot to be difficult for them. I don't think they were physically nor mentally prepared for the rigors. They have to get this team to snap around in one season. That's his challenge. And I think the pressure is on gary pinkel. If they don't get back to a bowl game it's going to be different. They were 2-6 last year [in conference]. The only two they defeated tennessee in overtime. And kentucky have new coaches this year. You talk about skill position players. Mizzou has got it. It always starts and ends in the trenches. Missouri takes the ball away. They force 21 turnovers. That was tops in the country. And 16 of those are fumble recoveries and recovered 16 of those. With when you look what they can do defensively, the schemes, i don't think they're afraid of the sec. They're going to embrace it. Missouri will be back in a bowl game. The latter part of that schedule certainly gets soft.

I hope so, after being baptized last year by the SEC we need a strong comeback year.

Considering Andre buried us when the move to the SEC was announced, this is nice to hear. But talk is cheap and Mizzou still has a lot of questions that need to be answered.
