Why has Saban been more successful at Bama?
A lot of programs have slipped since Saban was at LSU.

LSU with Miles has been one dimensional on offense
Miami is gone
Nebraska is gone
USC got into trouble
Urban Meyer left Florida
Oklahoma went down with the defections in the Big-12
Texas seems over the hill with Mack Brown
Auburn is down
Georgia has been treading water
Ohio St. got into trouble
Michigan went down

Things are about to change.

UCLA with Jim Mora Jr. is now recruiting well
USC will be loaded, but might still need to find a good coach
N.D. is now recruiting well
Ohio St. with Meyer is recruiting well
Michigan seems to be recruiting well
Florida with Muschanp is recruiting well
TAM with Sumlin is recruiting well.
Florida St. is recruiting well
LSU with Cameron is about to get a real offense and is been recruiting well

With Saban's relatively easy SEC schedule, this year will be his best chance at another National title for a long time; the competition is about to get a lot tougher both in the SEC West, SEC East, and on a national level.
