I would definitely ride up and meet some friends for that if I was gonna be in the area. I figured they would have some breweries that I haven't heard of but I guess those types have no interest in marketing in Mississippi.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of the bigger brands but not anything to special. But something's better than nothing when it comes to Mississippi beer selection.

Never been to this before. Kind of pumped. You can bet your arse that OPD will be out in full force though.

Went to either this or something very similar last year at the Powerhouse on University Ave. It looks as though it has gotten significantly bigger since last time. Was pretty fun.

I think there is a shuttle from maybe Kroger? That's 10 dollars.

You're thinking about Mississippin'. It's put on by the university's hospitality management department. It was a couple of weeks ago and I went because my roommate got me free tickets. The tickets were normally like $35 though. They had some pretty good food too.
