Not to take anything away from the Bama unit, they´re legit, but this was just brought up on the LSU side.

I don't think there will ever be a secondary as good as this one was. The depth was just crazy.

2010 LSU DB unit:
CB
Patrick Peterson- 5th overall pick in 2011
Morris Claiborne- 6th overall pick in 2012
Tyrann Mathieu- 2-3 round pick in 2013
Tharold Simon- 3-4 round pick in 2013
Ron Brooks- 3rd round pick in 2012
S
Brandon Taylor- 3rd round pick in 2012
Craig Loston- unknown where he can be drafted next year
Eric Reid- Should be a first round pick in 2013 or early second
Jai Eugene- undrafted

IMO Some NFL teams can only dream of having a unit filled with these players.

That's a good one too, after all players are drafted it'd be interesting to see how they pair up.

No doubt LSU has been at the top with talented Dbs over the past several years.

Vanderbilt had some good secondaries/defenses in the late 90s. I remember when they had Corey Chavous in 96'. He was a stud. I believe they held Florida to their lowest passing yardage/points that season.

His stock has really fallen. He's not even a top 5 safety on most boards. He looked like a first round lock last year. I think if Reid ends up on a team with solid corners he'll be a great pro. If he's asked to do too much though he'll struggle, early in anyway
