That team got hosed against AU and killed themselves with awful turnovers against us. Should've been 14-0.

2006 LSU was awesome. My favorite non AU SEC team ever.
Offense was extremely talented, but Saban or the O-cordinator fricked them over in the AU game (probably some others as well).
Defense was simply all world and one of the best I've seen.
It was a scary team you did not want to ever have to line-up against. AU never recovered the rest of the season after that game.
