You were. But LSU had been controlling the football game pretty consistently despite the score. Alabama was up on Florida in the '08 SECCG 20-17 going into the 4th but I never legitimately felt we had a shot to pull the game out.

That's the same way I felt about the SC-LSU game this past year.

Not that we'll never know because this is pure speculation but that is one of those cases where I sat there and thought post-game.. man.. if that game was in Columbia.. we would've come out with a W.

Yeah if I remember correctly your D killed our D because LSU's defense was getting our offense off the field so quick our defense spent way too much time on the field. In the 2nd half they simply couldn't do it alone anymore and after a bunch of close stops our defense finally gave way.
