When I think "hood", it's some place that I'd be nervous to walk in, even during the day time. Jonesboro is poor but it's not scary, imo.
Trust me when I say Clayton County schools are just an extension of ATL this past decade or 2 easily. Plenty of gang crap at all those schools.

I hear you man, Atlanta cleaned house when the Olympics came and Clayton was dumb enough to take then on for large sums of money from the government. I just think Atlanta still has the worst of the two areas.
And RD, there are pockets of Atlanta to avoid but for the most part it's a great city.
