It's YuKu like SPS. They have a thread scouting us. Seems pretty active.

quote:

I spent some time on their KenPom profile. Here's what I took away:

Tempo: On the year, they are the 12th fastest team in the country, averaging over 70 possessions per game. That said, they just knocked off Missou, Vandy and Florida in the SEC tournament in games that were 64, 65 and 67 possessions, respectively.

Team Scoring: Going into the SEC tournament you would've said that Ole Miss can't win if they score in the 60's. They'd lost their previous 4 games when that occurred. Then they went out and won three straight that were played in the 60's. Go figure.

Turnovers: They do not turn the ball over on offense. KP has them at 15.8 in his TORate, good enough for 8th in the country. They create a decent number of turnovers on the defensive end at 21.7%, but I don't expect them to cause the Badgers a ton of problems there as they did not create many turnovers against quality competition this year.

Marshal Henderson: He doesn't fit the "gunner" profile in terms of efficiency because he doesn't turn the ball over and he's great at getting to and converting at the line. His TORate of 12.4% is better than anyone in UW's Top 7 outside of Jared Berggren. He draws 5.5 fouls per 40 minutes and has attempted 177 FT on the year. Evans leads UW in these categories at 5.3 and 144, no other Badger is over 5.0 or 100. On the other hand, his 359 three point attempts fit the gunner profile like a glove. That's over 10 per game and 50 more than Brust and Dekker combined.

Murphy Holloway & Reginald Buckner: Both seniors, these guys are 6'7 & 6'9 respectively, and seem to be pretty good at what they do. Holloway shoots and makes a ton of shots in the paint (346 2P FGA, 55%2P). He also crashed the glass on both ends of the court. Buckner doesn't shoot a ton, but he blocks a lot of shots and crashes the offensive glass. Neither of these guys make free throws at a 60% rate.

No one else on this team really does anything extraordinary, at least on the offensive end of the court.

It think it's pretty simple to me: Over their last 10 games, UW is 0-4 when they score under 1.00 PPP on offense and 6-0 when they score over 1.0 ppp. If the guys hit a reasonable amount of shots and get to the line then this shouldn't be a problem.
