That would be good if he could play to his strengths, but what are his strengths on the basketball court? He is long, tall, and pretty athletic, but has not progressed skill wise in three years. His offensive game scoring-wise certainly doesn't translate to the next level. He gets rebounding numbers because of his height advantage, but gets pushed around any time he faces a big man with a pulse. How is a 6'8 post who thinks he's a 3 going to help you next year at all?

ETA: He has all the potential in the world, but kids who have flat-lined like he has in HS certainly make me skeptical.

I'm not saying he will ever reach this level, and certainly not in his freshman year, but didn't you just sort of describe Bowers?
