Arky is,undoubtedly, our closest geographical rival in the SEC. This will make travel easier and more likely for fans of both our teams. But I don't think of the atheletic program as a rival to beat, anymore than any other SEC school.
I guess time will tell.

I believe the correct word is feud.
I like the hard to get; rivalry denied thing. But both sides are kidding themselves to think this isn't a developing rivalry. It's a perfect match in so many ways.

I agree with you, Gray. It'll take some time, but I think it'll develop. I don't think it'll ever be to the level of kU hate, but I also see that as a positive

Agree on the lack of hate being a positive.
There will only be one KU, and I'm good with that.

Agree 100% mogray. The word "rivalry" is just a label. There is little doubt that given the many factors, there is something, whatever label you want to put on it, that makes the competition between the 2 schools a little different than others in the SEC.
