I could be wrong, piggy, but I've found that if you weren't at all insecure, you wouldn't make comments like, "I'm just glad we didn't have to run away from the flagship school in our state." Truly confident people/fans don't go out of their way to troll, toss out lame stereotypes, etc. Just a hunch, but I'd bet that deep down (they'd never admit it), those fans who do insult others harbor a fear that if you/your team has it, I/my team doesn't (so I have to try to take down you/your team w lame comments like, "Your school ran away").

Just an observation.
