Have you punished him for it? Does it do it when you're there, right in front of you?

I have punished him. The only thing I have not done is beat the piss out of him. He does not do it when we are home. Only when we are gone. The worse part is that he knows he is doing wrong. He always greets us at the door, when he shits or pisses, he is in the back. Never fails. I almost want to think he is doing it on purpose haha. I mean, other than the last two weeks, he has only went inside like 5 times and that was due to me being gone for 12 hours.

Separation anxiety. He wants attention. He doesn't care if it's positive or negative, he just knows that's a way to get your attention.

You have to ignore it. Do not punish him. Just clean it up when he's in another room and act like it didn't happen. And reward him when you come home to a poop and piss free house. That should stop it. Won't be overnight obviously.
