I think he is a great college QB, but I'm always wary of quarterbacks who play with tons of talent in college. I don't have any data to support this, but it seems like the a lot of great NFL QBs come from schools where they don't have a lot of talent around them.

You mean quarterbacks like Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady? They had a lot of talent surrounding them when they took snaps from under center.

Obviously I'm not trying to compare McCarron to those listed above, but just because a QB plays on a talented team it doesn't automatically make him overrated.
