As a Bama fan, I like AJ. A lot. But I'm not convinced he has all the pro tools in his arsenal.

Arm strength? I wish I had a nickel for every Amari Cooper route adjustment to catch long balls this season. He just doesn't have the the zip needed in my mind (I'd like to see a legitimate pass/route comparison with AJ and Brodie Croyle).

Maybe it's just me, I'm no pro scout.

The game I think you are referring to is the Texas A&M game where he would have had sure touchdowns with Bell and Cooper had he put more touch on his throws. Keep in mind he had sustained a shoulder injury on his throwing arm just two weeks before when he played Mississippi State. That arm wasn't back to normal until the Iron Bowl and it wasn't 100% again until the Notre Dame game in January.
