hopefully that's to fix that revolving door of a rush defense we have been sporting

To be fair, the only games we were gashed were against-

#1 NFL Draft RB (at the time) Lattimore

#2 NFL Draft RB (currently #1 cuz of Latti's injury) Lacy (with 3 NFL 1st round offensive linemen, and a 2nd round lineman)

#3 NFL Draft RB (maybe 1st round) Nebraska guy. Motel 6 not in the game.

As CTG points out in the article, our defense allowed 3.something yards per carry in conference play, lower than the conference average. With a 3 man front hellbent on sacking quarterbacks, part of the tradeoff is that you make yourself vulnerable to the run.

I've got a better feeling about Grantham going into 2013, I can't put my finger on it just yet.

Negative ghost rider. Dude from Fl Atlantic ran for 81 yards with 14 carries. George from Kentucky had 87 with 12 carries. Ga southern back had over 100. Im leaving out a few, but it's not a secret that it didn't take much to run on us.

Is it just me or did it seem like Saban attacked our strengths in the CCG? I mean he ran lacy and yeldon right at Jarvis Jones and he threw the ball right at Swann.

Every year it seems to me that the coaches pay too much attention to one weak area and we have production fall off in other areas. Case in point, last year it was our Oline that was supposed to be our weak point. As the season played out our Oline was really a strength and our hyped defense was the weak point. Yes we definitely need to pay attention to obvious weaknesses from the season before but not so much that slack off on the rest of the team.

Does that make sense or am I being overly critical?
