Light years ahead? Alabama may have the best WR in the conference next year. Yeldon and Gurley are way better than any RB on TAMU's roster, and the OL's are all very comparable. Oh and Alabama's QB just won his 2nd national title.
Let's be realistic here.

It's hard to compare the A&M RB's to Bama or UGA's because of the "problem" of having a QB that led the SEC in rushing. It wasn't like the A&M RB's didn't have a high YPC, they just spread it around. A&M has 2 former 5 Stars next year that will be Sophomores and the returning starter in Malena who is a true all purpose back. Bama's QB is excellent but he won the NC because he had the best defense in the country helping him out. I don't think any sane person would take McCarron over Manziel either.
It's pretty "realistic" to assume the school that led the Conference in Total O and returns it's Heisman Trophy winning QB (that set the SEC Total O records for a game and a season last year) will once again be the best offense in the SEC. If anything Manziel has more talent around him for the coming year and he won't have to spend the first half of the season adjusting to the offense. A&M also averaged about a touchdown more per game than Bama/UGA and nearly 100 yards of Total O. Why is that going to suddenly change?
