with backups all over. Yet LSU couldn't get the job done. Is TB and the rest of the Clemson team just inconsistent or does SC have their number.
Your thoughts on Season opener UGAvsCLEM.

Spurrier owns Dabo, simple as that.

Your inexperienced D is in for a big test against Clemson's offense. At least they lose Hopkins who was their best WR and torched LSU, even though Sammy Watkins gets all the hype.
I figure it's going to be a pretty high scoring game with both of yalls offenses and the defenses lacking.
I will definitely be pulling for yall, though.

Im really hoping that the younger guys step up and that some of the newbs coming in can fill some shoes emptied by the upperclassmen leaving.
so how do you see the Cocks trip to Athens going this year

Obviously I see us winning, given what we return on offense and defense.
Clowney will be pretty much unstoppable next year and I'm thinking Hampton will be a shutdown corner for us.
Our O-line will be experienced and should be pretty good so I think Spurrier is going to be looking to return to the Fun'n'Gun so you will see us passing more with Connor and Dylan.
I'm excited to see what our offense will look like cause I think we will be pretty explosive.
What are your thoughts on our game? Btw, I'm glad it's returning to the 2nd game of the year again. Last year, the UGA game was the beginning of a brutal stretch for us.

again depends on what the young D can do.. We are returning some younger kids.(without the NFL mentality) J Jenkins is going to have a breakout year. Our offense is going to be great. I have a feeling the O line will be practicing using a F150 truck to simulate JC.
I feel it will be close either way but of course UGA comes away with the second win of the season on our way to the SECCG

quote:They also lose their #1 back Andre Ellington who finished with 1,000+ yards the past two years. Their new starter will be SR Rod McDowell who rushed for almost 500 yards as a backup.
At least they lose Hopkins who was their best WR
I'm glad y'all have to worry about them as the first game before getting us at home. Of course, we have our own test in UNC coming to Columbia. Looking for an SEC opening weekend sweep.

I would enjoy nothing more than listening to the taters cry that entire next week thats for sure.
Tajh Boyd looks to be a pretty damn good qb. But I also see a little inconsistency in his play as well so we will see I guess..
and their D. They did not blow out LSU LSU has a Miller Lite offense at best. You guys come and took them and were spread thin at positions. So I think its going to come down to who can sling it the best and who gets the running game going first.

klimpson is like the fat nasty chick that thinks she is hot!!! and they will come into that game with the mentality that they are gonna compete for the NC this year after the LSU fiasco. And of course once a real SEC line starts shoving them around they will fold like lil girls. TB can not play once he starts getting hit in the backfield.
My prediction 31- 17 in favor of the leghumpers.
Hope you guys mop the floor with those farmers.
And hope your new guys build a big false sense of confidence for our trip to Athens.

Also just for kicks you should cruise over to tigernet forums. (if you don't already) the amount of delusional kool-aid drinking is epic. Plus its too much fun to troll those fanatical imbeciles.

And unfortunately, we have struggled in the past with QBs that are mobile and can get out of the pocket. I think that losing those great guys on offense that they do will be huge for us. I think our O vs their D > their O vs our D. Both defenses will struggle for sure, especially since ours is so new and young, but I think our offense should be able to put up more points. Looks like it's gonna be a barnburner for sure.

He's not a good running QB at all. He likes to run, but he barely gets any yards when he does.
His avg. ypc last year was just under 3. In the games against us and LSU, he had 46 attempts for 48 yds.

Very interesting. For some reason I thought he was a legit scrambler, and no not because he's black lol. I thought that was part of his game. Well that makes me feel better.

He is more of a Daunte Culpepper.. the later years.. He wants to be a pocket passer first and scramble second.. which is fine when blasting teams like elon, wofford, wake forest, and duke. Having top end receivers and a good RB helps that image.
Every time he has played SC he gets hit and plays scared the rest of the game... accuracy drops, he gets the phantom pressure and rushes out, makes erratic decisions... the list goes on. Nothing to be afraid of... TL;DR starts out as a old daunte culpepper and end up a scared jason campbell. lol

I do not want to play UGA at home after a loss to Clemson.
That said, I see UGA winning in a shootout. Don't stop running at them. They have strength and conditioning problems and get "outphysicaled." There's a worry, though, that your young guys playing on the road could get that deer in the headlights look early. Death Valley could pass for an SEC atmosphere. My concern is that they strike quickly while your D tries to settle and y'all go to the air, too, to match. Y'alls chances of winning decrease if you play their game. Play an SEC game (run, control the clock, stop the run)... they aren't built for it.
The LSU game was a blip. Don't look to that game for much insight.

Boyd was a much better runner in '12 than he was in '11. There were several instances in '12 where we would have had him sacked had he not shed some lbs from the '11 season.
Hes not going to take it to the house 50 yards out but he can maneuver around the backfield and keep the chains moving

Anyone who watched that game knew LSU you put the car on cruise control at halftime. In D1 football let alone an offense predicated on big quick strikes and nothing else you cannot do that. One the teams on cruise you can't just crank back up. Clemson had what 7/8 sacks on LSU? Clemsons defense is pathetic at best. And no one pushes LSU's online around that way. He killed us with his Oline backups and slowed clowney down better than anyone we played. Name the last team that sacked LSU that much? We didn't sack them once.
Clemson is not better or for real suddenly. They'll be worse against you than they were for us past season. The LSU win was just a result of letting off the gas on LSUs part.,replay that game at LSU on a Saturday night and tell me it wouldn't have been different. Hit em in the mouth early and often and "all in" quickly turns to " all out".

Tajh was only 200 yards short of Keith Marshall, rushing, in 2012.
His total yards were 3896.
(Aaron Murray: 3893)
His completion percentage was 67.2
(Aaron Murray: 64.5)
He threw for 36 touchdowns.
(Aaron Murray: 36)
Tajh ran for 10 more.
(Aaron Murray: 3 more)
Carolina owned them, but that doesn't make me feel any better about this game.
