You do realize that the big 12 shares tier 1 and 2 rights equally? Just like the SEC, and just like the sec, 3rd tier rights remain with the school. The LHN may be an abortion but it does fall in tier 3. So with this abortion of a network does it really matter to any colleges out there?

All this talk of UT wanting to go to the SEC is crazy. Yeah a couple of down years and maybe more to come, who knows. But at the end of the day it's about National Championships.
And in the last 10 years we have played for 2.
I don't think little brother gets one anytime soon. I believe in the likes of LSU, BAMA, Auburn and the rest of the SEC to not let this happen! Little brother is still in texas last time I checked and I'm sure the true south will make sure tamu knows its place in the pecking order.

I do miss the thanksgiving game!

Going off the BigTen Network model, you (the SEC Network) can charge much more for content in states in your conference footprint. Texas is now covered, same with FL, SC, GA, KY, etc. We won't double down in a state, that's throwing money away.

The Aggies place will be determined by what they do. They narrowly lost to two teams that finished 21-5 and beat the BCS CG winner at their place. They seem en route to be setting their own order.

You do know they want to play two or three conference home games on their network, right? So you want to pay for the LHN to watch your team play an SEC game? Because in their minds, that makes perfect sense.
