Not when they made the permanent rivalries. At that point, LSU was supposed to be Florida's doormat - a rent-a-win on Spurrier's inevitable march to Atlanta and bowl game failure.

ALSO, stfu your team plays Kentucky every year.

fact: LSU played UK more than they played UF before expansion



so it's again one of those stupid manufactured home office rivalries that we have no interest in

No shite. I'd gladly trade you kentucky for Florida and wouldn't be a bleeding vagina about it either.

Just think in 2007 when you lost to kentucky, if not for the Florida win, you wouldn't be in the title game.

But at the same time I wish they would get rid of the permanent rivalry too. So we wouldn't have to play Kentucky every year.
