The point is they typically try to make landmark hires, regardless of whether they succeed in doing so. If next year goes about like this year did, maybe a little worse, a new AD will be more inclined to fire Grant than Moore would have been. As for who he'd try to land.... who knows? Maybe that guy at Miami (who's about to go on probation). I'm not saying we'd land him, but we would at least try

If you think we would even consider firing Grant this year you have little to no understanding of sec basketball. However, Grant should have made the tournament this year. Next year's team is built to get a five seed or higher and make a strong run in the tournament. We have size, speed, and experience. No excuses next year. Roll Tide.
