I don't follow him, but this showed up on my timeline from a college football reporter I do follow.
You don't have to follow a player to find out what he tweeted. The reporters saw a story and ran with it, and it shows up in everyone's timeline when that reporter tweets about it. It's not necessarily Ole Miss Fans following him.
