I might be inclined to give Les the benefit of the doubt here. Les seemed to have given Crowton free reign for 2007 and most of 2008. It was only near the end of 2008 that he really put a chokehold on the offense.
Les and Cam go way back. I believe that if there is any other coach in the world that Les would totally trust with the offense it would be Cam. Even if it's just a debate that happens on Tuesday during game planning, I think that Les would be more willing to hear Cam out and perhaps concede a point or two to the very seasoned playcalling veteran.
That's my hope anyway.

Agree. All of this "Les isn't going to change!" stuff is retarded (but fitting coming from our retarded fans). Crowton had Les's trust at one point, but he lost it, and deservedly so.
If Les didn't want to change the offense, he wouldn't make changes. Period. End of fricking story.
