You need some people who aren't regular IM-ers, but are common on the Rant, to head things up.
Otherwise it's gonna be a big circle jerk of the daily IM crowd. It's gonna be a big circle jerk regardless, but you could make it a more inclusive circle jerk, instead of deepening the clique.

There is no clique. Anyone can post in the IM threads. They just choose not to do so.

This is probably my biggest fear. I sincerely hope that it's not the same 10-15 people showing up for every single award with the winner just being who got all their buddies to vote for em.

Clique doesn't exist like you think.
The only people who get shite on in IM threads are people who show up starting shite, like MizzouSEC2012.

Pretty simple solution. If people don't want a certain poster/group of posters nominated then nominate someone else.
The whole "non-IMers" crowd gives the "IMers" way too much power by bitching, then taking their ball and going home over these things.
