When I first moved to Missouri as a kid in 7th grade some little bastard down the street had me convinced they used old corn cobs to wipe their arse. Made fun of me when I said I'd never heard of that.
It was a well constructed story for some young little prick to come up with, but he had me sold. I just assumed everyone in Missouri was all a bunch of hicks (which we expected). As soon as I got home, I told my mom we needed to go buy some corn cobs to fit in with the Missourians.
