I hate this. I want to get an opportunity to travel to see games at Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia with reasonable frequency. Rotation is the only reasonable way to accomplish this.

+ 1

worst option I've heard proposed was a partial rotation where Bama/Tenn, Aub/UGA would not rotate as much so they could play each other every year.

I'm not interested in playing more of the other teams and less of the UGA and Tenn games - those are the games I'm more interested in. FWIW I'd like to keep the LSU/Florida game every year as well (keeping Florida and managing the Bama/Tenn, Auburn/UGA rivalries is one of the reasons I'm so fond of the idea of pods to keep rivalries and increase the pace of rotation).

How would pods accomplish this? You're going to see years where A&M doesn't play Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and State every year if you do that. I disagree with any scenario that does this.
