Similar experience here with my best friend from high school. He died from leukemia at a local hospital. I got passed by the staff flying down the hallway after he drew his last breath. Near miss.

I hear ya man. . It was leukemia for him as well. Fought it his entire life. Finally had to go to Minnesota for experimental treatment. Didn't get to spend the last 3 months with him. Passed away on the same day as the 07 LSU game. Not a good day for me and my friends. I was the one that had to contact everyone and tell the news. Put me in a bad place for a while. Blamed myself for a lot of things and almost destroyed myself because his last few months he was with us down here I had my head stuck up some girl's arse.
