you fuggers have done well because of and since Saban and only because of Saban. Leave out the Saban years and LSU is an afterthought.
Saban arrived in BR in 1999. Care to compare LSU and A&M's all-time win percentage up to that point?
As of 1999 LSU had an all-time win percentage of 62.3% and came in at number 17 nationally. Aggie? 60.7% with a national ranking of 23. So for a team that was an "afterthought," we were still better than A&M. The 90s are proclaimed by A&M fans as "glory days" while LSU fans only remember drinking to help with the pain -- yet LSU was still ranked higher than A&M as of 1999.

Our decade of shame has been tough, but we can see the light and it is good.
Exactly what LSU fans said about the 90s that is casually overlooked by A&M fans and their "5 straight" bullshite.

Your Saban/post Saban years have seen LSU rise in these stats from about the same starting point to now #13
Guess where LSU was in 1990 inall-time win percentage nationally? At 64.1% and 13th nationally. So I guess contrary to your "logic" LSU has returned to where it was before the dark decade of the 90s. Where was A&M ranked in 1990 you ask? With a win percentage of 58.7%, your Texas A&M Aggies checked in at number 37 nationally in win percentage. So yes, your Aggies did some moving and shaking in the 90s, although it still wasn't enough to overtake LSU.
So, LSU may not be "elite" to you, but all things considered, LSU is heads and shoulders above A&M not only recently, but also historically. Credit Saban AND Miles for getting LSU to this point, and sustaining the success.
Type in the years for yourself. LINK
