Maybe you should start a thread about which rivalries are more important.
Bama/auburn
Bama/UT
Georgia/auburn
Florida/Georgia
Ole miss/ miss state
UT/Florida
And see where the Ole Miss/arky Ole miss/LSU games rank.

It all depends on who you ask.
Nobody outside of Alabama or Tennessee cares about UT/Bama, yet its been treated as sacred so far.
My favorite two rivalries in football and baseball are LSU and Ole Miss.
I could see us getting stuck into a pod with
UT
Vandy
Mizzou
Ark
That would suck balls.

One thing i take from this thread is that LSU-Bama definitely isn't as big of a rivalry as the media makes it out to be, which is weird considering how long they've played each other.
So, between Bama, UT, UGA, UF, Auburn, and Ole Miss, there are ideally 12 games out of 128 (or 144) that are already scheduled, regardless of pod/division setup. I wonder if that's doable. Too lazy to check now.
What about floating pods every couple years?
