Its fully out...Dee Liner dropped to a 4 star. Guess hes not signing with Bama after all.

Derrick Henry is a 4 star and there are 5 RB's ranked higher then him. That seems unreal to me.

We no longer get the Rivals bump, but we do get a 247 bump now.

I guess they are pretty accurate. I don't really get bent out of shape over recruiting rankings. I follow recruiting, but only periodically and not on a regular basis. I know the guys AU goes after and have a general idea of where we stand and of course watch all the NSD coverage to see where things shake out, but I don't watch any player film or highlights or check to see how many times they wiped their arse after their daily shite.

So, I couldn't offer much of an opinion on how accurate the sites are except it was pretty blatant for a few years with the bama bump on rivals. Enough so that even a casual follower notices.

He's not a "gump" in the sense that he has no ties to the university. He's what you would call a "sidewalk alum". Dude made $100M for himself and others when he sold Rivals, waited out his non-compete, and then in less than 3 years turned 247 into the beast in the industry. He's no idiot. You don't have that kind of successful track record without being very good at what you do. And you don' thave that track record be being wrong a lot. There is a reason ESPN isn't thought of in the same light at 247. Their rankings have proven to be most accurate.

Additionally, they offer the composite ranking of all sites and compare it to their own. They aren't hiding from anyone or anything. They know what they are doing and they want to put it out there for everyone to see.
