I'm actually sitting on a 5 year old laptop now. It's cost me a lot of time and worry, but only $40 to keep it going.
After three years, I started seeing how long I could make it last. I've impressed myself.
Also helps that I'm not spending a lot of time on MS Flight Simulator anymore.
