Royals suck, cards suck, mizzou sucks. The end.

I say that because there is no other SEC school that would consider MLB ahead of college football in making a schedule.
I'll bet you can go to a Nascar race on Sunday and still find a way to buy tickets to your teams game on Saturday. I also bet you don't root any less for your team on Saturday just because you're going to a race the next day. Multi-tasking. It's a good thing.

Don't forget Yankees.

KC, I don't know what the Royals are doing those weekends, but I see no way we can play football and baseball at the same time.
They're away both weekends, but I'll be too busy watching them on TV from my apartment just minutes from Mizzou's stadium to actually attend some lame college football game.

And for the record, we haven't finished putting our schedule together because we have a dilemma. The weekend of 9/14 the Cards have interleague play against the Mariners. Can't really schedule football that weekend. But the weekend of 9/28 the Cards play the dreaded Cubs. Definitely can't play football that weekend.
Wow, you made my point for me. For the record I live in Baton Rouge and love pro baseball. Im in the vast minority however.

Good luck to your Royals this year. What are the expectations this year?

Heathen!!!! When you say pro baseball team I'm assuming you're not talking about your LSU tigers.
Who does one pull for down in Baton Rouge?

Nothing was better than the beatdown SF put on StL in games 5-7 of NLCS. What was the combined score anyway?

I think we'll sell out both the Cards and the Mizzou game. No worries my friend.

We can always use all the luck we can get
Expectations are to play at least .500 ball on the season and contend for a wild-card spot in the playoffs (although I don't think that will happen). Most Royals fans will be thrilled with a .500 record (yes, that's how low we've sunk )

U think mizzou will ever get rid of those rocks and put in seats?

LOVED Will Clark. One of my all time favorites. Loved his swing. Loved his approach to the game. Kevin Mitchell? Not so much. Liked Williams too but Clark was the man.

I had my first trip to busch last summer. Sat in the green cardinal club seats. Amazing experience

Not for a while. They have about 4 or 5 phases of stadium renovation in the works. They may get rid of them in the last phase but they'll be the last seats added I imagine. Semo on the rant had a good idea of moving the Rock M to outside the stadium and preserve it that way. But until then I think it stays. They may eventually build around it first though.

Someone blowing the big bucks. Pretty neat experience down there. Who'd they play? And what did you think of the new(er) stadium?

Never forget the days of one flap down and wasn't it Mitchell that made the bare handed catch in left field against us?
