Oh, here's a bit of history on Texas' nonconference games vs. BCS conference schools since the BCS began:

2012 Ole Miss - blowout win in Oxford
2011 UCLA - blowout win in Westwood
2010 UCLA - blown out in Austin
2008 Arkansas - blowout win in Austin
2006 Ohio State - 17 point loss in Austin
2005 Ohio State - 3 point win in Columbus
2004 Arkansas - 2 point win in Fayetteville
2003 Arkansas - 10 point loss in Austin
2002 North Carolina - blowout win in Chapel Hill
2001 North Carolina - blowout win in Austin
2000 Stanford - 3 point loss at the farm
1999 Rutgers - 17 point win in Pascattaway
1999 Stanford - blowout win in Austin
1999 N.C. State - 3 point loss in Austin
1998 UCLA - blowout loss in Westwood

Total Record:

In Austin: 2-4
On the road: 6-2

In back-to-back year series, Texas only went 2-0 once (North Carolina) and only won in Austin twice.

Why is 1998 so important? Mack Brown's first season was 1998.

My God, you know more about Texas than I do. Wonder why? Oh I forgot, you probably attended Fish Camp.

Even with the obvious handicap of Mack Brown on the sideline, I'll take Texas at home with 19 returning starters, not including Jeffcoat & Hicks, who will both return.
