Grant's problem has been that he hasn't had a quality inside presence and reliable outside shooting at the same time. He's always had one or the other which makes Bama's offense predictable and easy to defend.
That is a huge problem with our offense and is often overlooked by many of our fans, but its also the fact that Grant isn't good on the offensive side of the ball either. Wheel is an effective offense, but that and one-on-one ball isn't going to be effective without any other offensive sets.
Another big problem with our offense is we don't have a distributor on our team. I love Releford, but he is the definition of a scoring PG. Other than alley-oop lobs he doesn't have much, if any distribution skills. Our best distributor is Steele and someone who averaged 35 pts in HS and did little to no passing, Lacey. That is why I am hoping we can get Coleman to sign with us. The kid has to be averaging about 13 or so assists per game while scoring at a high and efficient rate.
