We lost the last two bowl games for different reasons, IMO.
1) The championship last year started out just like the Arkansas and Georgia games. We had gotten in this really bad habit of sucking on offense for about a half before Mathieu bailed us out or somebody made a play on defense.
Only thing is, nobody made a play against Alabama, and then the offense started to panic.
2) Against Clemson, we did the same thing we did all year. We let an inferior team hang around because our offense lacked any sort of killer instinct.
This time (for the SECOND time, IMO - first was Bama), they got us in the end.

I honestly think there's something to Les Miles eating the field grass.When he's able to do that LSU is hard to beat.
