I think the real issue is if the 4 team playoff started this season, UF would get in over UGA despite not winning their division. How is that fair to UGA or any other team making the SECCG?

I'm cool with that too but that will be 16 games for a National Championship if the SECCG is retained.

The student/players should unionize if it gets to that

College football should move to 10 or 11 regular season games and then have a 32 team playoff. It's obviously not important to the NCAA how many games a team plays. Look at the Championship sub division.

I agree with you post. In fact, I believe that Bama getting to the MNC last year without winning its division was a picture of things to come relating to the SEC Championship game. Once playoffs are implemented participation in the SECCG will more often than not be a disadvantage.
