Saban benefits from the BCS format

People sit here and try to compare this supposed dynasty to previous ones. This is something to just consider.

Without the BCS format in 2009 Texas would have likely played in the Fiesta while Bama would have played in the Sugar. If both would have won their bowl games which would have been likely we would have probably has a split national championship.

Without the BCS format last season Bama wouldn't have even made it to the Sugar Bowl. Undefeated LSU would have likely gone and would have won the Sugar Bowl which means they would have been undefeated National Champions.

This season Notre Dame would have likely gone to the Orange Bowl while Bama would have been in the Sugar. Notre Dame would have probably won the Orange which would have made them the undefeated National Champions regardless of what Bama would have done in the Sugar.


Just something to consider.
