I tried to return to my normal routine today, but during my second set of pull ups I felt the same pain in my shoulder. I did one more set to see if it persisted, and the feeling just got stronger.
Then I thought that maybe chin ups wouldn't cause stress on whatever is hurt, so I gave one set a shot. Turns out I was right. I was able to complete my routine with chin ups.
I still can't tell exactly what's hurting... I'd like to do some light exercises to try to strengthen whatever it is when it starts feeling better.
