Plain and simple Ole Miss beat MSU. More fans of the SEC feel that Ole Miss is better. MSU had the better record, but you played Jackson State, South Alabama, Jacksonville State and MTSU. Not the most competitive slate of teams. You beat Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and Auburn. Did any of these teams even go bowling this year?

State and Ole Miss will always be two midgets arguing which one is taller. Anybody who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.

Not only that, but all these teams had their coaches fired. If you lost to State, you got fired. Think about that in how much their opponents respect them.
